Cafco BONDSEAL® - Styrene Acrylic Copolymer
INTRODUCTION
Cafco BONDSEAL® is a single pack, styrene acrylic copolymer, used as an adhesive/sealer coat.
Cafco BONDSEAL® is mixed with water and applied to porous or non-compatible surfaces to either seal or create a barrier prior to the application of CAFCO® 300 and Promat sprayed mineral wool products.
A wide range of surfaces in both the construction, hydrocarbon and tunnel industries will benefit from the use of Cafco BONDSEAL®.
| Properties and performance |
| Theoretical coverage |
When used as an adhesive on steel, 3 parts Cafco BONDSEAL® to 1 part water, 7-11m2/litre as mixed
When used as an adhesive on concrete, 1 part Cafco BONDSEAL® to 1 part water, 13m2/litre as mixed
When used as a sealer on Promat sprayed mineral wool coating, 1 part Cafco BONDSEAL® to 1 parts water. 10m2/litre as mixed
Practical coverage is dependent on surface condition, profile, application method and technique
